ROUND CARBON STEEL TUBING
Low carbon steel, 1” minimum outside diameter, 4 ½” maximum outside diameter. Minimum wall
thickness is 18ga. (.049”), and maximum wall thickness is 3ga. (.259”).
Most tube sizes and some pipe sizes are available.
ROUND CARBON SORTED
This product line includes good quality tubes that have been sorted from mill bundles as well as product that has been rejected at the finish floor. The tube is structurally sound with no splits, end welds or windows. The reason for rejection is usually dimensional or due to minor defects found with electronic testing. Some of this tubing is in prime condition, taken from over-runs or aged inventory. This product is packaged in hex bundles and sold as full bundles, generally ranging in length from approximately 12’ at a minimum to as long as 48'. Bundle sizes can vary from as few as 3 pieces up to 127 pieces, depending on tube size. There aren't certifications for this tube, and the steel grade is usually not known. This product is sold by the foot and is stored outside. Sold "As is/Where is". ROUND CARBON - UNSORTED
This carbon tubing is available in full mill bundles and contains splits, end welds, and open seams as well as many fully welded non-spec tubes that don’t meet the customer specifications for size, tolerances, etc. These bundles generally require a full-sized truck to haul and range in weight from approximately 2,500 lb. to as much as 20,000 lb. This tubing is priced by the pound and varies depending on the prevailing scrap price. Sold "As is/Where is". ROUND CARBON - WELDED FOR STOCK
Occasionally, Keystone acquires excess steel coils. When enough coils accumulate, we weld them for stock. This is all good quality product and is hex bundled. We generally store this product in a warehouse. There are no certifications for this tube, and the steel grade is usually not known. This product is sold by the foot. This product is produced to meet a specific order placed by the customer. We calculate the cost based on prevailing steel prices and tube sizes. Generally, a minimum of 20,000 lb. is required for an order of this type. Call for more information.
